Computer Science Student of FIS-USU Wins Gold Medal at Asian Karate Federation Championships 2026 Leica Al Humaira Lubis, a 2022 cohort student of the Computer Science Study Program at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universitas Sumatera Utara, successfully secured the Gold Medal in the Women’s Kumite +68 Kg category at the Asian Karate Federation (AKF) Championships 2026. This achievement stands as a testament to her dedication, hard work, and strong fighting spirit, while also bringing honor to Indonesia, Universitas Sumatera Utara, and FIS-TI at the international level. 23 June 2026

USU Collects Data on Prospective Students Affected by Changes in DTSEN Status Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) is collecting data on prospective students whose National Socioeconomic Single Data (DTSEN) status has changed as part of the proposal for additional KIP Kuliah quotas for 2026. This initiative reflects USU's commitment to promoting inclusive and equitable access to higher education for students from economically disadvantaged families. 18 June 2026
