Medan, August 31, 2026 — The Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (Fasilkom-TI) Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) once again recorded an impressive achievement in the field of research. A total of 13 Fasilkom-TI USU lecturers successfully received TALENTA Research Activity Funding from Universitas Sumatera Utara in 2026 as principal researchers.
This achievement was based on the attachment to the Rector's Decree of Universitas Sumatera Utara concerning the Determination of TALENTA Research Proposals of Universitas Sumatera Utara in 2026.
The research funding received by Fasilkom-TI USU lecturers consisted of several schemes, namely:
- Basic Research: 7 lecturers
- Applied Research: 5 lecturers
- International Collaboration Research: 1 lecturer

Thus, a total of 13 Fasilkom-TI USU lecturers received TALENTA funding in 2026 as principal researchers.
