In line with our commitment to excellence and alignment with global education standards, the Undergraduate Program in Information Technology at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) actively participates in the university’s Internationalization Program. To enhance the educational experience, we have adopted an Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curriculum, ensuring that our graduates not only grasp theoretical concepts but also acquire practical skills that are immediately applicable in the workforce. This curriculum development process incorporates valuable input from diverse stakeholders, including industry professionals, alumni, and community partners, to maintain its relevance and effectiveness in today’s rapidly evolving technological landscape. The Undergraduate Program in Information Technology is dedicated to continually refining and updating our educational offerings to meet contemporary needs while adhering to international standards. To elevate the quality of education, we emphasize the enhancement of students' practical skills through enriched laboratory experiences and partnerships with various organizations for internship opportunities. These initiatives are designed to prepare our students with real-world experience that is crucial for their future careers. Recognizing the importance of quality instruction, we prioritize the professional development of our lecturers and teaching staff. We actively involve industry practitioners in the teaching and learning process to provide students with insights that bridge theory and practice. Moreover, our program promotes a culture of research excellence through collaboration with industry partners and encourages student involvement in innovative projects.
