Fasilkom-TI Students Successfully Selected to Participate in Security Manpower Training (SMT) Program in South Korea

Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (Fasilkom-TI) student at the University of North Sumatra (USU) Fayadh Fadilah Nasution from Information Technology Stambuk 2021 succeeded in becoming a participant in the Indonesian Security Manpower Training (SMT) Program. Out of 30 applicants, 10 applicants were selected to continue training in South Korea including Fayadh.

The Security Manpower Training (SMT) Indonesia program is a high-quality information security education organized by the Korea Information Security Industry Association (KISIA) and Korean cybersecurity companies, NSHC Inc. and INKOR and supported by Asia Cyber University by educating and providing a professional workforce through specialized and systematic training.

The implementation of this program is carried out by the collaboration of several parties, such as the Ministry of Science and Information and Communication Technology of South Korea, the Korea Information Security Industry Association (KISIA) which is an organization that promotes and supports the information security industry in South Korea, Network Security Hacking Company (NSHC Inc) which provides experienced tutors in the field of cybersecurity, and INKOR which is a joint company between Korea and Indonesia. INKOR is dedicated to empowering people with the skills and knowledge to thrive in the global market. As an operator in the SMT program, INKOR aims to provide comprehensive training and operational support.

Through this program, Fayadh will learn general cybersecurity knowledge followed by practical training from experts in the field. The benefits that Fayadh will receive through this program are cybersecurity knowledge taught by experienced professional tutors in Korean companies, 100% full funding, visiting South Korea and Cyber companies in South Korea, certificates by the South Korean Government, and the opportunity to work in the field of cybersecurity.
