The Student Achievement and Alumni Relations Directorate of North Sumatra University (USU) held the Student and Advisor Achievement Award Night for the year 2022 on Sunday, December 18, 2022 in the University of North Sumatra Auditorium.

The event was opened by the MC, who sang the Indonesian national anthem and USU hymn, prayer, and a report from the chairperson of the committee, the Director of Student Achievement and Alumni Relations (DITMAWALUMNI) of USU, Doli Muhammad Jafar Dalimunthe SE., M.Si. Then, the welcome and opening remarks were delivered by the USU Rector, Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si. In his remarks, the Rector of USU hoped that next year the student achievements would continue to increase.

This event was held to create a more competitive and memorable academic atmosphere, with the hope that in the future, the achievements of USU students at the national and international levels will continue to increase and the university's ranking in the Student Management Ranking Information System (SIMKATMAWA) will be even better.

Some Computer Science and Information Technology students received national level student achievement awards, ranking third, such as Farhan Doli Fadhil Siagian in the essay and poster competition Sciencesaurus Brawijaya University 2022 and Leica Al Humaira Lubis in the National Student Sports Week 2022 West Sumatra competition.

National level student achievement awards, ranking second, were received by Leica Al Humaira Lubis in the National Karate Championship Cup of the FORKI 2022 General Chairman, Hanif Misbah Ananda, Riyadh Abdur Razak, Ananda Tri Syahputra in the Campus E-Sport National Competition, Siti Rahma Yani in the Agro in Art competition, and Muhammad Hafizh Rayhan in the Indonesian Open Archery Championship (National Archery Circuit Stage 1) 2022.

National level student achievement awards, ranking first, were received by Hanif Misbah Ananda, Riyadh Abdur Razak, Ananda Tri Syahputra in the Indonesian E-Sports Championship 2022, Jackie Chandra, Nurul Andini, M. Bayhaqi Daulay in the Hackathon: Code For The Nation 2022 competition, and Muhammad Hafizh Rayhan in the PANGDAM I/BB Archery Championship Cup.

In addition, the Computer Science and Information Technology department received the 12th ranking in faculties with the most student achievement awards in the year 2022.
