Fayadh Fadilah Nasution, Fasilkom-TI USU student, joins Korea’s Security Manpower Training, representing Indonesia and advancing cybersecurity expertise on a global stage.

Medan, August 2023Fayadh Fadilah Nasution, an undergraduate student of Information Technology (2021) at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universitas Sumatera Utara (Fasilkom-TI USU), has been selected as one of ten top participants in the prestigious Security Manpower Training (SMT) program in South Korea.

The program is organized by the Ministry of Science and ICT of South Korea, Korea Information Security Industry Association (KISIA), NSHC Inc., and INKOR, supported by Asia Cyber University. Security Manpower Training (SMT) aims to equip students with advanced cybersecurity knowledge and practical skills to compete in the era of Industry 4.0.

Fayadh completed the initial training phase in Indonesia starting from July 24, 2023, and is scheduled to continue the program in South Korea this November.

His achievement reflects Fasilkom-TI USU’s strong commitment to fostering globally competitive talent and advancing cybersecurity education among Indonesian students.
