MEDAN – The Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (Fasilkom-TI) at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) continues its streak of producing internationally competitive talent. Four of its students have successfully secured the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) 2024, a prestigious international student mobility program backed by the Indonesian government.
The IISMA initiative offers students a valuable opportunity to undertake a semester of study at top-tier universities worldwide. The program is designed to enhance academic exposure, cultivate intercultural skills, and boost global competitiveness among participants, aligning with the national Kampus Merdeka policy.
The four Fasilkom-TI USU awardees set to embark on their international academic journey are:

Erick Lorus (S-1 Information Technology), who will be attending Aix-Marseille Université in France.

Sabrina M. Siahaan (S-1 Information Technology), who will study at Charles University in the Czech Republic.

Harry Hamara (S-1 Computer Science), accepted by Universiti Sains Malaysia in Malaysia.

Nicholas Hansen (S-1 Computer Science), who will pursue studies at Universiti Malaya in Malaysia.
