Fasilkom-TI USU successfully conducted Capacity Building in Parapat, covering work program presentations, RP-RTL, and outbound activities.

The Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (Fasilkom-TI) at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) successfully conducted the Capacity Building: Collaboration and Innovation event from Thursday to Saturday, February 22–24, 2023, at Hotel Niagara, Parapat. The event was attended by the dean's structural staff, lecturers, and educational staff at Fasilkom-TI.

The event began with a welcome speech and presentation by the Dean of Fasilkom-TI, Dr. Maya Silvi Lydia, B.Sc., M.Sc. In her presentation, the dean outlined the six work programs, including targets, strategies, achievements, and evaluations. She also discussed upcoming programs and activities.

This was followed by presentations on academics and student affairs by Vice Dean I, Dr. Mohammad Andri Budiman, S.T., M.Comp.Sc., M.E.M.; on Human Resources (HR), finance, general affairs, and equipment by Vice Dean II, Sarah Purnamawati, S.T., MSc.; and on cooperation by Vice Dean III, Romi Fadillah Rahmat, B.Comp.Sc., M.Sc. The vice deans explained the work programs for their respective fields, accompanied by key performance indicators (KPIs). The first day concluded with presentations of the performance contracts for the dean's office, study programs, and laboratory heads of Fasilkom-TI.

The second day began with a fitness session attended by all capacity-building participants, followed by outbound activities with fun games to strengthen the bonds within the Fasilkom-TI academic community. Afterward, a Control and Follow-up Plan Meeting (RP-RTL) was held based on the results of the Internal Quality Audit (AMI), and the performance contracts for study programs and Fasilkom-TI staff were handed over. The second day ended with entertainment and the distribution of outbound prizes.
