Board of Trustees Visits Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (Fasilkom-TI) at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU)

 

Medan, May 16, 2024 – The Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (Fasilkom-TI) at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) was honored with a visit from the Board of Trustees (MWA) on Thursday, May 16, 2024. The event, held in the Multipurpose Room of Building E at Fasilkom-TI USU, was organized to review the faculty's performance and discuss its work programs.

The visit was graced by distinguished members of MWA, including Chairman of Commission I Prof. Dr. Hasim Purba, SH, M.Hum., Secretary of Commission II Prof. Dr. Ing. Ir. Johannes Tarigan, Chairman of Commission III Prof. Dr. Ir. Darma Bakti, M.S., Secretary of Commission III Prof. Dr. Khairina Nasution, M.S., and Member of Commission III Dr. Mutiara Indah Sari, M.Kes. They were warmly welcomed by the Dean of Fasilkom-TI, Dr. Maya Silvi Lydia B.Sc., M.Sc., along with Vice Dean I Dr. Mohammad Andri Budiman S.T., M.Comp.Sc., M.E.M., Vice Dean II Sarah Purnamawati, S.T., M.Sc., Vice Dean III Dr. Romi Fadillah Rahmat B.Comp.Sc., M.Sc., and other faculty members and lecturers.

During the visit, Dr. Maya Silvi Lydia presented the Faculty Performance Report, detailing the planning, implementation, performance achievements, and challenges faced by Fasilkom-TI in 2023. The presentation was met with appreciation and constructive feedback from the MWA representatives, who offered suggestions for future improvements and planning.

Following the presentation and discussion, the attendees gathered for a group photo, capturing the collaborative spirit of the event. The visit concluded with a tour of Fasilkom-TI's facilities and infrastructure, showcasing the resources available to support the faculty's educational and research activities.

This visit underscores the commitment of both Fasilkom-TI and the Board of Trustees to maintaining high standards of academic excellence and continuous improvement. It also highlights the importance of collaboration and feedback in achieving the faculty's goals and enhancing the educational experience for its students.
