Fasilkom-TI USU conducted the INFOKOM LAM Field Assessment for the verification of the S-1 Computer Science study program data with the assessor team, interviews, and facility review on 18-19 March 2024.

The Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (Fasilkom-TI) of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) carried out a Field Assessment of the Informatics and Computer Self-Accreditation Institute in the S-1 Computer Science study program on Monday - Tuesday, March 18-19, 2024 in the Seminar Room Building D Fasilkom-TI USU. This activity aims to verify, validate and classify the data and information contained in the Self Evaluation Report (LED) and conduct field assessments in the S-1 Computer Science study program.  


This activity was attended by a team of LAM INFOKOM assessors, Prof. Drs. Heru Suhartanto, M.Sc., Ph.D., from the University of Indonesia and Prof. Dr. techn. Ahmad Ashari, M.Kom., from Gadjah Mada University. The activity opened with introductions and signing of the Field Assessment statement. Followed by visiting classrooms, lecturer rooms, laboratories and infrastructure facilities for the S-1 Computer Science study program.
The activity continued with the discussion of criteria A, B, C1-C9, and D carried out by the assessor team, the head of the study program, research institute, head of the Study Program Management Unit (UPPS), student affairs section, finance section, and infrastructure section. Furthermore, interviews with lecturers and education staff were conducted by the assessor team. In addition, interviews with students, alumni, and graduate users were conducted to see student interaction as the object of the university. 


The activity was closed by submitting the draft minutes of the field assessment to the UPPS leadership for review, signing the minutes of the field assessment and providing feedback and coaching suggestions for the S-1 Computer Science study program.
