Fasilkom-TI earned multiple honors at the 2025 USU Awards, celebrating outstanding achievements by its lecturers, study programs, and students at national and international levels.

The Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (Fasilkom-TI) of Universitas Sumatera Utara celebrated a series of remarkable accomplishments at the 2025 USU Awards, as its lecturers, study programs, and students earned recognition across multiple prestigious categories.

In the Lecturer & Study Program category, Fasilkom-TI secured two major awards. Dr. T. Henny Febriana Harumy, S.Kom., M.Kom received the Second Best Award for Top SDGs Contributor, acknowledging her exceptional efforts in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals. Meanwhile, the Undergraduate Computer Science Study Program was honored with the First Best Award for Best Industrial Collaboration, reaffirming its strong partnerships and impactful industry engagement.

Fasilkom-TI students also delivered impressive performances on both national and international stages, earning numerous achievements:

 

 

 

  • Muhammad Fakhriy A. won 3rd Place at POMNAS 2025, as well as 1st and 3rd Place at the National Roller Skate Championship, Walikota Pariaman Cup 2025.

  • Perwira Satria Taufik QD & Sabrina Marisi Siahaan secured 1st Place at the World Science, Environment, and Engineering Competition.

  • Leica Al Humaira Lubis claimed 1st Place at the 14th Silent Knight Kuala Lumpur 2025 international karate tournament.

  • Atikah Shabrina Siregar won 2nd & 3rd Place at the IMT-GT Varsity Carnival, plus 3rd Place in the Mixed category.

  • Kayla Andhara earned 3rd Place at the international karate Silent Knight Kuala Lumpur 2025.

  • Robert Ong secured 2nd Place at the National Business Planning Competition, Faculty of Economics UNIMED 2025.

  • Alwin Liufandy & Andy Septiawan Saragih achieved 3rd Place at the national programming contest Codefest 001.

  • Muhammad Lutfi Kamil S. added another honor with 3rd Place at POMNAS 2025.

These achievements highlight Fasilkom-TI’s ongoing commitment to fostering excellence, innovation, and competitiveness among its academic community. The faculty congratulates all award recipients and hopes this success continues in the years ahead.
