Empowering Futures: AI, Innovation, and International Education Opportunities at AIT, Thailand

Medan, November 12, 2024 – The Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology at Universitas Sumatera Utara (Fasilkom-TI USU) hosted an inspiring event titled “Empowering Futures: AI, Innovation, and International Education Opportunities at AIT, Thailand”, held in the Academic Senate Hall, 3rd Floor, USU Rectorate Building.

The program aimed to broaden career and academic horizons for students, faculty members, and staff, particularly by exploring further study opportunities at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand. Highlights included pathways to dual degree programs in Data & AI (DSAI) and Information Management (IM).

Special guest speaker Dr. Chutiporn Anutariya from AIT delivered an insightful session on “AI in Solving Real-World Problems: Social Impact and Ethical Considerations”, emphasizing the importance of responsible and ethical AI implementation.
