Mr. Dedy Arisandi ST, M.Kom was born in Medan on August 31, 1979. He completed his undergraduate education in Sekolah Tinggi Teknik Harapan Medan in 2003 and completed his Masters in Teknologi Informasi di Universitas Putra Indonesia in 2009. Currently, he is pursuing his doctoral education at Universitas Sumatera Utara, Computer Science Study Program. Mr. Dedy Arisandi's training was on Database Design and Programming with SQL from Oracle Academy in 2020.

Mr. Dedy started his career at the University of North Sumatra in 2009. He held a structural position for the first time as Head of the Programming Laboratory from 2012 to 2017, followed by an expert dean staff from 2016 to 2017. After that, Mr. Dedy held the position of Head of the Database Laboratory for the period 2017 to 2021, followed by the manager of the Data Center and Information Systems at the USU Quality Management Unit for the 2018-2021 period. Mr. Dedy has held the position of Secretary of the S-1 Information Technology Study Program at USU's Facilkom-TI for the 2021-2026. Mr. Dedy's research interests include Intelligent Systems, Computer Vision, and Machine Learning.

Throughout his life journey, Mr. Dedy always motivates himself by remembering the advice he received during his lifetime: "Demanding knowledge is an effort made to change behavior towards a better direction because knowledge leads to truth and leaves ignorance. Verily, Allah hates those who are clever in the world's affairs but ignorant in the affairs of the hereafter. The most intelligent people are the ones who remember death the most and are best prepared to face what comes after."
