Assoc. Prof. Dr. Elviawaty Muisa Zamzami, ST., MT., MM

This lecturer is often called "kakak". Some students called her "Kak Elvi", and some of them "Kak Zamzami". She was born in Medan on July 16, 1970. She is a member of Senat Akademik USU. Kak Elvi holds four academic degrees, namely S. T. from the Field of Informatics Engineering of ISTP Medan, M. T. from the Informatics Study of ITB Bandung, M. M. from the Management Studies of IMMI Jakarta, and Dr. from the Field of Computer Science Studies of UI Jakarta. Before becoming a civil servant lecturer at USU, he was a lecturer at ISTP, AMIK Kesatria Medan, and STT Harapan Medan. Kak Elvi has served as Secretary of the Department of Information Engineering, ISTP Medan (1995), Head of the Department of Information Engineering, ISTP Medan (2000 - 2005), Vice Dean I of Faculty of Industrial Technology ISTP Medan (2006-2009), Expert Staff of Dean of FMIPA USU (2006 - 2009), and Vice Dean for Academic, Student Affairs and Alumni at USU Medan (2016 - 2021). He was also a consultant at AIA in 2000. Another contribution of Kak Elvi is to produce many publications in the fields of software engineering, artificial intelligence, cryptography, etc. He was once trusted as a resource person at the FGD "Sistem Kearsipan Sebagai Penunjang SPBE (Sistem Pemerintah Berbasis Elektronik)", WANTIKNAS, at Aryaduta Hotel Medan, and as a speaker at the Public Lecture "Kecerdasan Buatan: Motor Revolusi Industri 4.0" at Universitas Malikussaleh, Lhokseumawe. The professional organizations that Kak Elvi participates in are IAENG International Association of Engineers Hongkong (as a member), IEEE Computer Society (as a member), Central APTIKOM 2018 - 2022 (as a member of the field), APTIKOM Prov. Sumatera Utara 2019-2023 (as field coordinator) , and IPKIN Sumatera Utara Branch 2014 – 2019 (as Deputy General Secretary). She actively participated in Bebras Indonesia Challenge social activities in 2018, 2019, and 2020, as chairman. The Satyalancana Karya Satya X Year Award was given to Kak Elvi by the President of the Republic of Indonesia in 2017
