Profile


Mr. Amer Sharif was born in Oakland, USA, on October 21, 1969. He graduated from the Institut Teknologi Bandung with a bachelor degree in Physics in 1994 and then obtained his master degree in Information Technology from Universitas Indonesia in 1999. Now, Mr. Amer is a lecturer at the Computer Science Undergraduate Study Program USU. He served as Expert Staff of the Deputy Dean I of Fasilkom-TI USU. In addition, he has taught at Universitas Pembangunan Panca Budi Medan and AMIK STIKOM Tunas Bangsa Pematangsiantar. He is also experienced in other fields, namely as Quality Engineer, Chief Technology Officer, System Engineering Manager, Chief Software Architect, and Store Manager. Some of the training that Mr. Amer has participated in are training from the Digital Talent Scholarship Kem. Kominfo, with the theme of cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and databases. He also participated in other training such as scientific writing training (AMIK Tunas Bangsa Pematangsiantar) and internal quality control system training (IPB Bogor). He also attended public lectures, various national seminars, and various international journals. Usually, he researches the fields of formation security, databases, and networking.
