Medan, Humas Fasilkom-TI — The Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (Fasilkom-TI) of University of Sumatera Utara (USU) began its very first Limited Face-to-Face Learning (Pembelajaran Tatap Muka Terbatas / PTM Terbatas) since the pandemic hit Indonesia. The learning activity held on Monday, February 7, 2022 while still observing health protocols.
This learning activity is a follow-up to the Circular Letter of the Chancellor No. 1802/UN5.1.R/SPB/2022 concerning Limited Face-to-face Learning for Even Semester T.A. 2021/2022 University of Sumatera Utara.
The activity is attended only by freshmen (Class of 2021) and sophomore (Class of 2020) students and is carried out in a hybrid manner, meaning an offline teaching and learning activity for students and lecturers who have completed their second dose of vaccines and online teaching and learning activity for students and lecturers who have yet to receive the vaccine or only received the first dose of vaccine. For students and lecturers who have not completed their vaccine are given the time to complete it before the Mid-Semester Examination (Ujian Tengah Semester / UTS) takes place.
Moreover, even though the learning activity is conducted online, all teaching material and attendance list must be uploaded to e-learning. This also applies to lectures that are conducted offline.
All academics who will participate in the Limited Face-to-Face Learning (Pembelajaran Tatap Muka Terbatas / PTM Terbatas) are required to comply with health protocols while being in the campus environment. When entering the lecture hall, students, lecturers, and staff on duty must wash their hands at the provided sink and apply hand sanitizer afterwards. All academics are required to scan the check-in barcode through PeduliLindungi application and being checked for their temperature. If the vaccination status is green and the body temperature is normal (< 37.50), students are allowed to take part in the learning process.
